It's really bothered me that ever non-Ohio person I've talked to or heard on TV since the end of the game last night wanted to chalk up the close score to Carolina playing so far below its standard. We were outrebounded 63-30 and our best player shot 3-for-20. It's not exactly like we had the stars aligning either.
Carolina turned it over 24 times? That's how we won 29 games this year. We did that to EVERYBODY this year.
Don't get me wrong. I know that not having Kendall Marshall was a huge blow for the Tar Heels. But why is it so hard to for people to understand that maybe the reason Carolina had such a hard time last night was because they had to play a really good team?
