BG player got clocked by a Memphis player in the handshake line after BG won their WNIT game.

According to this BGSU university police are investigating the incident, one would assume as an assault.

ONLY if local authorities want it. And both schools have jurisdiction, but easier to let the po po take it.

As you know, Alan, I'm not a proponent of violence, but the BGSU players did little or nothing to confront the Memphis player.

As you know, Alan, I'm not a proponent of violence, but the BGSU players did little or nothing to confront the Memphis player.

I watched the game on ESPN+. It happened so fast. And a Memphis assistant coach immediately had a bearhug around the guilty player and escorted her away from the other players. One BGSU player, their biggest athlete, started heading towards the coach-player duo then realized the situation was contained.

On a happier note Bowling Green advanced to the Final Four with a fourth WNIT win against Florida.

Reminds me of the girl from Texas who got waxed by Van Lith and stopped her in the handshake line to yell in her face.

Lucky something didn't break out then also.
