At the end of the game Friday night, I tracked Miles after the final whistle blew. He broke down on the bench and did not make it to the handshake line. DW consoled him as his face was in his hands. He briefly got up and gave a few high fives but was the first off the floor.

I know the consensus was he was coming back after not getting honored on senior day, but this did not seem like the emotions of a man coming back. I sure hope he does.

And in case anyone missed it, he was sick last week so the narrative that he abruptly lost playing time is false. He tried to go both nights but couldn't last.

I desperately hope he is back. What a great Bobcat he has been. Hopefully someone hears something soon on his status.

I hope he comes back but I knew something wasn't right. He just seemed very off and didn't look well.

I hope he comes back, too. Since he didn't go through Senior Day activities, I'd say it's likely. But we will see.

I join the chorus in hoping that Miles returns. I spoke with him for a very short period of time when the team played in New York, at Iona College. Howeverrrrrrr, the back court landscape may have changed with the emergence of AJ Brown and Elmore James. If they both return there's a good chance Miles is looking at coming off the bench. Only he knows how that would sit with him...

Wondering if FlashGary is onto something. Miles didn’t participate in senior day and I thought he also commented on coming back. So, I thought he was a lock to return. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall this past weekend that AJB and Elmore are likely starting over him next season.

I hope he's back. Even if those guys are starting, Miles would likely see major minutes as things stand right now.

Maybe he just felt terrible that he couldn't be 100% for the two most important games of the year. Sucks to get sick at the wrong time, then watch the team lose by 7 and knowing you could have made a difference.

This is how I'm interpreting what Ruck saw.

That’s what I’d hope for; just surprised to hear how emotional he was (not shaking hands).

He was sick. His mom was working on him after the game!

It’s good that we have so many body language experts on here. More likely just wishful thinkers

Sincerely hope to see Miles and Roderick back next season.

I've said it before, and I'll say it every time they get brought up - in the portal era, these guys are the soul of your team.

Well, I don’t wanna speculate - it’s only March and Roderick could still return - but Boals just said goodbye and thanks to Roderick, DW3 and Baker on Instagram. Not Miles.

This is a really weird statement.

Miles and B-Rod were in that first class when Boals got here. They have both been instrumental in some great wins and great seasons. They have been standup guys, great OU representatives and contributing members of this squad. You never see their heads down. You never hear them publicly saying they should get more shots or more playing time. If B-Rod is done as a Bobcat I will forever be grateful to have seen him in green and white. His 3-pointer against Virginia to put us up 7 in the second half was as important than any of BVPs shots in that game. I hope Miles returns. We need his personality, his leadership and his defense.

Thanks. I just noticed him sitting alone on the bench as it emptied and followed from there.

Boals was asked about Miles not being honored on Senior Night around that time. He said that while that had not specifically had a conversation about returning, that he expected Miles would be playing for Ohio next season.

I think he and his alter ego, BLSS, are beyond help. But, I do acknowledge and appreciate your compassion.

Kind of insulting to KVK to imply he wouldn't notice someone following him around.
