Ohio basketball will survive coach Groce leaving. It has been around for a long time and will continue to exist. I was really down about coach leaving but now I am accepting that it's likely going to happen. I remember a lot of the conversation on the board when Ohio was looking for Tim O'Shea's replacement that most were fine with hiring a coach that was going to use Ohio as a spring board as long as he was successful and was leaving OUr program in great shape. I am very thankful Ohio hired Coach Groce and if he is introduced as the new Illinois head coach tomorrow they are lucky to get him. We shared an amazing ride and he will be missed.

The hiring of his replacement at Ohio is critical! The right hire, the Cats don't miss a beat and its onward and upward. I just keep flashing back to Brian Knorr and Billy Hahn. Yikes!
