Successful people are usually subtle and are not insecure enough to chest pound about those successes to others on a message board.
For example, I know of a General Counsel (voted CEO in waiting) and a separate 49-yr old billionaire who post on Ohio State's Scout forum. I met both at a tailgate party with my Dad, and before the in-person meeting, I had no idea either were overly successful. Neither mention it. I found out only because I asked about their professions and then looked them up afterward. Yep, I suppose I am a mild stalker.
Moreover, my father-in-law makes over a million per year and I had no idea until I visited Glassdoor and saw what partners at his organization earn.
Point being, those who are truly secure and successful, never mention it unless asked directly. Even then, the success in downplayed.
