By losing one of our own you are meaning who?   Don't tell me you can't keep Ohio State and Ohio straight either...... or are you channeling your inner Brady Hoke?

Derp...he's talking about one of our very own posters, Tim Burke.  Welcome to the party.

Yes, I initially thought it was a report that DJ was declaring early for the NBA.

It's true, the NBA has come to me about being their "post videos to YouTube" guy.

Would you enable them for mobile playback, as your first move? :P

You can't play NBA videos on mobile? That sucks. I actually have been mostly impressed by how quickly the NBA gets their clips up, though the titles of them are terrible and sound like a high school kid wrote them.

Our Deadspin videos are fully HTML5-compliant and play back on all fully-compatible mobile devices :-)

I'm aware your videos work.  And the NBA videos (at least on YouTube) are mobile-disabled.  Not a technology problem, it is a rights problem.  Which is silly since they're the ones with the rights...

Oh, I know it's a matter on YouTube of clicking the "allow playback on mobile" thing. I was just being self-promotional.
