TCU's hire is similar to Ohio's hire, getting a coach under contract but struggling at what probably would be considered a higher-level school but one that really isn't a "basketball" school. Also, he had lots of success before going to LSU.

Also, Johnson made twice as much at LSU as Christian did at TCU, so we'll see if TCU plans to increase the mens' basketball coaching pay. With the move to the Big XII, I'd say it probably will.
