Billy is looking to leave his position at WVU  for an assistant position, somewhere...

Billy has always been a good assistant.  Some folks just aren't head coaches.  Would love to have him back on the bench in the Convo.  i can still see the great staff we had in the 80's, Danny, Billy and Fran.  Mac hit a homerun with those hires.  Hopefully we're in the same situation today.

Perhaps he hit a home run with Billy as an assistant but as a head coach he was terrible. I remember the students wearing the "Bag Billy" paper bags over their heads. So much wasted talent.

The part I found most interesting in the article was the exchange between Charlie and Billy about not doing it for the money.  So many of the current crew of coaches seem to be as much a celebrity as they do a coach just waiting for the next big gig or endorsement deal.

The part I found interesting, although I was aware of some of it, was the part about Huggins. A number of posters here have trashed Huggy over the years with everything from half-truths to really not having a clue as to who he is, or can be. He's certainly not perfect, but he has a good side many never see or are willing to acknowledge.

I played for Billy and Danny and I learned a lot from both men.

Snoop and Dave J and we were picked to win the MAC. Finished last if I recall.

Also ran into to Billy ball at a game some time ago and he said the first thing he does in the morning is pick up the paper hoping to see OHIO lost. F him.
