Hey how many of you bought the black jerseys that are on sale?

Any idea how long until I will get it? It's hard to believe it will be 10 weeks.

Also, it says to leave your jersey name and number in the comment box at the end of the sale. If you did this, maybe you can tell me I did this correctly. In the comment box I put i.e. "SMITH 14" for the name and number. Did I do this correctly?

Yes you did it correctly.  10 weeks allows them time.  That is how long the second order of football jersey took give or take.

I am interested in buying a jersey this time around, too. Anyone have advice for sizing? I know for the football jerseys you were supposed to order a size larger than a T-shirt you would normally wear because they ran really tight. Anyone know how these compare? For example, I wear a size large shirt typically. I want it to fit similar to a T-shirt, perhaps a bit bigger. Any advice what size would be best for me?

10 weeks is right.  I ordered one for each of my boys.  The sizing is like an Under Armour shirt.  The material is similar and fits snuggly.  If you are slim, order your regular size.  If you want it to fit loose, order it a size larger.  Also, just put the name and number you want in the comment box.  It is a choppy system, but it worked exactly right in the end.

Mine took a loooooong time to arrive, but it was very much worth the wait. It is authentic in every detail - looks like it's fresh out of the locker room!

I am surprised they are opening up the sales for these jerseys again.  With the potential change in uniform maker coming soon I wouldn't think that a lot of these would be sold until that decision is made.  If they decide to stick with Russell I hope they open up the sales again for both the black football and basketball jerseys.  I just can't see why too many people would want to buy the jersey now with a potential totally new look coming soon. 

I certainly hope that if they go with Nike, Adidas, or UA the tradition of selling authentic jerseys is written into the contract!  To me it stinks that Russell waited until the last year of their contract with us to provide this opportunity to Ohio fans.  The imitation versions they tried selling for the first few years just don't cut it in my mind.  Hopefully if we stay with Russell they will offer the green, white and black versions from the beginning of the contract.  If they would have done that this last go around I'm sure they would have sold a lot more over the same time periord.

I am elated. I have been asking for this since Leon was playing. Every time I go in a bookstore the last 6 years and check out I make the suggestion to the cashier and suggest she take it to her manager.

i like your suggestions that it get written into the contract.
