If we play DJ and Offutt at guard, well that's a good place to start.  Can't imagine there will be too many teams in any league who have the combined talent of these two.  I like when Walter attacks the hoop--scoring, rebounding, defending.

Yes, definitely agree with your points above, and I think if we can get a good drive-and-dish game going (assuming we can up our perimeter shooting), we are going to have a hell of a team.

As a principal, I see this type of miscommunication often.  While I do not know either of you, I think I can decipher through what has happened here and will attempt to play referee.

Giacomo asked, "What does that mean?" to the question, "How are other sides going to stop Offutt?"

JSF stated that the question is pretty self explanatory, with a very obvious meaning: "How do you stop Offutt?"  I don't believe (though could be wrong) that he was saying that it seems "pretty clear to me" on how to stop Offutt, but rather that the question itself is pretty clear to him.

Doc seems to have read the statement as being that JSF has some sage insight on how to stop Offutt, that is is "pretty clear" to him.  When in reality, only the interpretation of the question was clear to him.  

Right?

Stopping him is a tricky proposition. You can't key on him because he'll find the open man. He's not the primary ballhander, so you'd try to keep the ball out of his hands. If he has it, clog the driving lanes and maybe have his man sag a little bit. He's really good at getting to the rim, so you have to really focus on preventing that. If his outside shot is working, you're in real trouble.
