Thoughts on some of openings:

High Point: shocking it was only one year with Tubby's kid, guess former OU Asst AD wanted to start clean on this one
Bowling Green: not as shocking, Huger (met him a couple times and from all accounts) was a nice guy, but couldn't win there. Toledo Blade saying BG has resources to win the MAC, but people forget it's been since 1968 they have made an NCAA Tournament.
Texas: Interim coach I think keeps the job if they get to the 2nd weekend for sure

Unfortunately cannot disagree. You would think people would be cognizant to what is said and what is not said out there, but alas, it happened and now Texas Tech gets to make a "fun" decision going into B12 week when their former coach is also available to potentially come back.

I don’t think it’s open. I believe they’ve already named Adrian Autry as the new head coach. I did not see “interim” attached to that title.

Well the color of Jesus’s skin has been a matter of conjecture for almost 2,000 years. The best evidence suggests He was neither black nor white but olive-skinned. So, in some cultures they have depicted Him a little lighter than probably was actually the case, and in other cultures they have depicted Him a little darker than the average Semite of that era.

And Adams is no longer at Texas Tech. The way they worded it, it was his decision to step down, or they gave him a chance to step down.

Also, FWIW, Chris Beard is apparently in talks with Ole Miss.

Thanks for posting. I hadn't heard about that. If the investigation finds that those allegations are true, it does sound like the actions and statements of a total scumbag! That would be enough alone to can him, and does show a pattern of insensitivity and stupidity, IMHO.

His response to that incident was pretty strange, honestly. He admitted to "slobbering" on the player due to being sick, and didn't deny the "I can spot on you whenever I want" comment. Instead he said "I don't remember saying that."

Not a denial at all, and the quote was reported by a third party, not the person spit on.

The way Boeheim was done I considered "not right." Don't get me wrong, not his biggest fan, but someone who served 47 years at their alma mater and finds out via press release that he is finished didn't seem right.

Texas Tech didn't surprise me at all. Will be intriguing who they decide to go get.

The Green Bay job opening is going to be interesting to watch. ESPN is already mentioning a ton of names with connections to Will Ryan which is odd (Saul Phillips and John Tharp, who coached Pritzl at Hillsdale), but we'll see where they go.

Also, hearing Will Wade's name getting thrown around again.....strap in.

What Will Wade got in trouble for in 2019 is legal now. If I’m a program that needs a jolt, I’d totally hire him. That VCU tree is legit.
