One thing that always seems missing to me when we discuss such things as player assessments and transfer possibilities is that with the exception of a very few BA posters we really don't know a lot of important aspects of the story. We don't know things like friendships on the team or animosities between team members, how a player plays in practice, how his attitude helps or hinders the development of the team, his commit or lack thereof to the coaching staff, how he likes or doesn't like OHIO academically, the presence of a steady girl friend that would impact his mobility, what his parents are telling him he should do, etc., etc. In other words all we know is what we see on the court. This is often not the full story. We post that player X should transfer up. Player Y should transfer down. Player Z is sure to leave for more NIL money at a P6 school. Player Q should see more playing time. Player W should ride the pine. All this speculation is just fine, but the bottom line is for the most part we don't know what we are talking about. Self awareness is good.
