Not unfair. A very good team that IS the defending champion. Loss of Diggs hurts, though. Wonder if the writer knows about it.

If you look at past posts, they mention us a few times in some of our non-conf. opponents schedules as being the toughest or next toughest, specifically mentioning DJ a few times. I agree with JSF. We are two free throws away from never having the opportunity of making that run...

I am glad ESPN gave love to Akron over us.  I hope others do as well.  It will keep this team hungry.  We can talk free throws missed and free throws made  - that was last year.  The more this team feels like it has to defend itself the better.  The more this team focuses on the "today" and not on last year, the better.

That is how I read it but was reticent to say anything. I just thought it was a synopsis  of other teams outside the previously mentioned bigger conferences. I am not so sure he even knows we are in the MAC from what he wrote. He knows we are sweet 16 team but to completely not  acknowledge that Ohio and Akron will meet 2-3 times this season gives me pause (not paws)

The point of the article is just that but they do say that Akron is the MAC favorite in the Akron writeup.

How did Christian do against Kron when he was at Can't?

My guess is that he kicked their arse like he did OUrs when he coached in the MAC.

My wife always complained when I watched or went to those Can't/Ohio games...."why do you say the word hate for that guy."....she would say.......well actually because he's such a great coach and they seem to always beat the shiet outta us.
