I think a lot of this was covered with the TV thread below. That said, I am really good with the webcasts from OUr home games and the ability to hook my TV into the computer. So much so that I purchased a now defunct
Google TV unit on Amazon in the hopes that I can just let it tune in and use my Monitor to play the games. Cost me 79 bucks at the time and comes with a killer Blue Ray player and HDMI outs. Works with wirelss and lets me surf the web with a nifty remote. AND IT"S FREE compared to Horizon league TV or any of the other conference sponsored or University sponsored links even within our conference that charge to view.
I don't particularly need an announcer or instant replay to watch this as game films I am used to look pretty much the same as what is on our feed. Withthe Pic in Pic feature you can be in the internet chat room on a 37 inch or bigger TV and watch the game at the same time.....that way you can have Love, Lande71, SBH or Tim Burke or any other BA'ers giving you their play by play and thoughts as you watch.....WOW! what a community we can have!
That said, you have a point. As we grow OUr brand it needs to get to more markets and bigger. As much as Butler has accomplished inthe last 10 years they still have a hard time getting on TV. I am not holding my breath. WNDY in Indy is not what I would call main stream and does not give Buttdog alums far and wide the exposure they would like.
