I'm not sure what the problem is with the online system. Every time I use it it's very easy and not hard AT ALL to use. It pretty much walks you through step by step. It doesn't take a genious to do it, which obviously you guys think its nice to bash an athletic department that is understaffed and having great succes with working with what they have. It's you guys that will never be pleased with anything, will threaten to never buy tickets again just to act tough like you know everything how athletic departments operate, then will still show up at every game and cheer. It amazes me how negative you guys can be when we are at our highest success in program history. Complain complain complain. I guess the other THOUSANDS of online orders by customers went fine except for yours. Sounds like a user issue to me.
Yeah , that s the ticket.
I am an old curmudgeon that delights in bashing the athletic department.
Not that I made 137 games on the road and at home and experienced every athletic department at every arena and kept track of what we do well.
I carefully noted that I stayed with my mobile phone company since 1986 and merely kept asking them to fix it as I did in the post above to the athletic department.
I continue to support the Bobcats even though my son is gone. How many parents does anyone see coming back after their kid has graduated? HOw many of the folks actually drive to BG, Toledo MI to support the Cats minor and olympic teams on the road?
YOu are out of line. It may be user error. It should be easier to back one set of tickets that you do not want out. I consider myself marginally educated. I figure if I can fly an airplane and perform some of the other functions of my daily life which includes 40-50 encounters in a computer documenting things on a daily basis I should be able to easily navigate a website. I have replaced most of my trips to CHicago and Indianapolis to shop with online ordering. Our site does not support that.
I did not threaten to leave the Bobcats and I am not a bandwagon fan who is here merely because we are in a time where I am here because of tthe success. I toted posters, schedules and got players to sign them for kids and fans wherever the Bobcats went. I still grab schedules and giveaways for Bobcats fans who I may see in Indy or wherever and turn them on to tune in radio and the website in order to promote the brand. ... And FYI I have quietly discussed and suggested things for years to no avail. I have been in the offices underneath the Convo and up on the main concourse and on the phone without seeing things change to make the gameday experience better and MORE accessible. Parking is getting more draconian and I understand the students working have a job to do and are told to be unyeilding to the point you can;t even drop Grandma off by the back door of the Convo even if you give them your drivers license to hold till you come back. . I understand that change comes slowly to Athens but I attend games all over from the grade school level to the CHicago Stadium , Conseco and Lucas Oil. You can try to make me seem like a prick with an axe to grind but I am merely a frustrated Bobcat fan who wants things to get better and has not seen that despite hints and one on one suggestions to those in the positions to make change happen.
It is exactly at this time of unprecedented growth that we should be tweaking and responding to the surge by making our systems better and ensuring that the experience is graeat and makes these new fans bobcats for life. .
