Fiami won a close one with Marysville 73-64. Score was 61-60 with just over 8 to go.  The Fiami fans are saying that Marysville is very good even though they had a losing record in D2 last year.  Redhawks did a lot of full court pressing and played a lot of zone.   Fans seem to be in that phase where a coach has just left and the new one does things differently and everything is right with the world.  I have a feeling reality will hit over the next month or so.  Not saying Cooper isn't a good coach, just that he's got a lot of work to do

Akron spanked Zips 106-67.  Nick Harney with 22 to lead the Zips.  Sounds like a blowout from the get go.

I'm sure McKinney would agree.

Buffalo had a four game Canadian tour in August where they went 3-1.  The team they lost to also beat Northeastern but lost to Albany and LaSalle.

LOL, I had thought of adding that in my post but decided against it.
