In a few interactions w/JC at caravans, FBall tail gates, and first look up close courtside at the Mercyhurst game I am Very Comfortable w/JC. One thing clear to me is nobody has a free pass from just what they did last year.

Big JC fan as well. Really enjoyed watching him at the game yesterday and came away impressed. Should be a fun season!

I too am becoming a JC fan.  Seems that he genuinely speaks his mind instead of just repeating cliches and coach speak all the time.

I knew a guy on JC's staff when he was at Kent and from what he's told me and what I observe now, JC seems to have changed quite a bit over the last 5 years, in a good way.  When I talked to him after the hire he was skeptical of the hire based on personality alone.  There was never a question that JC could get the best out of a team but there was a doubt he could do it in a way that didn't turn off some players and others involved in the program.  I no longer have any concern about that.  I suspect the TCU stint taught Coach quite a bit and made him not only a better coach but a better person.

Excited to see where this season takes us.

Good point. Groce was always very concerned about handling the media. Christian almost has to be more hands off by comparison.
