A lot of people have mentioned how good Reggie looks this year and how clear it is he busted his butt in the off-season.  However, there has not been much talk about Ivo and I think that his obvious off-season work could be as important as Reggie.  His added range and confidence to shoot the three and the deep twos without hesitation has added another dimension to his game.  It is also going to really open up his ability to take bigger, slower players guarding him of the dribble throughout the year.  I think we will continue to see increased production from him and I truly believe it is because his range will keep defenders honest.  Clearly ha put a lot of hardwork in on that.  Remember how much of an xfactor KVK's range was.  This will be even bigger given Ivo's athleticism.

I have truly enjoyed watching this team so far this year.  Not just because they are good and winning, but because I can really see how committed they are to getting better.  they are not complacent with their accomplishments from last year.  It only made them hungrier.  You can see it in the way they play and you can see it in the way they have addressed areas of weakness from last year.  I have been truly impressed by almost every player's growth.  Kellogg looks like an even better shooter, Kellogg has added some ability to get into the lane, Coop is just Coop and Offutt is just Offutt, Reggie has added muscle, conditioning and more than one post move and Ivo has added the jumper. It has been a real treat to watch this team and these players grow over the last few years.

This year we will either live by Ivo's 17 footers, or die by Ivo's 17 footers. He's shooting them either way. When he makes them we are going to be tough to beat. When he's not on its going to be frustrating.

Agree with the comments here about Ivo.  I've always like this kid, and now he's made a commitment to be more aggressive, and you can really see it on certain plays.  He long-range jumpers are just one aspect.  That semi-skyhook (not exactly but best I can describe it), is really going to be a challenge for defenders.  I predict he'll get national acclaim before this season is out.  Go OHIO!

Ivo was pretty aggressive early last year before he hurt his knee (i think it was his knee anyway).  After that we was much less effective the rest of the year. He absolutely destroyed Northern Iowa last year.
