And boy did OUr fan base need it. I watched it on my IPhone and was shocked at how Ohio just dominated Richmond in the 2nd half! Go Ohio!

And Reggie Keely didn't score...unreal.
Impressive.
The defense is incredible.

Today was the first time I have been able to access the game video on my IPhone. Before I always got a message that apple did not have software compatible. I was happy to see that apparently that has changed!

Would prefer for us not to be just a 2nd half team, but I don't mind the results. :)

Only three Richmond players scored all game. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Did not see that one coming.  Thought it would be 5 to 8 pts and come down to the last couple minutes.  The run started when Williams went out for a rest and didn't stop, even when he came back.  Fourth time in the first five games that Ohio held the opponent to under 20 pts in a half.  No Ron Weasleys on the floor today.  Beat the Bonnies!!

He doesn't exactly fill up a stat sheet but Travis Wilkins is a solid, solid player.  He has been playing great defense IMO.  When our starters are off the floor we lose a little bit on the offensive end but nothing on the defensive end.  That's a nice luxury.

Agreed. It's really nice to be able to bring solid defensive players like Ricardo Johnson, TJ Hall, and Travis Wilkins off the bench. Should only continue to improve when Kadeem Green is available.

At halftime when Ivo, Smith and Reggie all had two fouls I was wishing we had him already.

Aside from grainy video, I have not truly gotten a feel for Kadeem. Does anyone really know what he's going to bring? As a major college recruit at Mizzou I would think he'd be in the vain of a Walt or a Bassett. If he's even another Jon Smith or better we're going to rock inside. And these guys are so unselfish too. D.J. and Walt get the credit but our bigs are amazing. Reggie is by far my favorite player.

From Seth Davis of CBS and SI..."that was a pretty good Richmond team that Ohio ripped by 25 at home yesterday..."

Richmond may not be a "sexy" name, but they have a solid squad and that's going to be a good looking, decisive victory if we find ourselves in need of an at-large bid. Richmond has a chance to end up with some quality wins, as they've got Butler, VCU, Dayton, Wake Forrest and Kansas on their schedule.

As for us, these next couple of weeks very important in terms of setting the standard for the year. We've looked great so far, but Robert Morris and Memphis are serious tests on the road, and in the past playing on the road has always been tough for us. IF we can go 3-0 in our next 3, a tough task for sure, this team will head into the final stretch of non-conference games extremely confident in its ability to beat anybody, anywhere. From what I've seen, this team looks more disciplined under Christian. I think the run last year did wonders for the team's confidence in each other, and that they genuinely believe that there are 7 or so guys who are capable of stepping up on any given night and leading the team in scoring.

Ha. Yeah. I was thinking that when Williams was tearing us up inside.

Should things not go as we want at the MAC tourney, there are several games that are important on Selection Sunday.  This game was one of them.

I hate posting about this team.  I start feeling overconfident... We belong on the same court as everyone in the nation...  Many teams nationally don't belong on the same court as us.

UGGGGHHHHHH

that sounds like so many BIG fans.

Every team belongs on the same floor.  SOme because they are paid to be there, some because we need to beat them to establish ourselves, some like Kansas who say the same about us.....because we need the benchmark to see where our program is in the big scheme. They all belong for one reason or another.

WE....need to stay humble and not become those we have held in contempt for their arrogance for many years.

If we played Kansas, I'd take us by 11.  I would also take us by 20 against Hampton...  Stupid underdogs and their upsets.
