Hopefully K Green can guard big men. When is he eligible to play?

Do they keep track of how many students go to each game? I mean if there are 5,000 fans who paid tickets and 2,000 students that show up does it say officially only 5,000 people went to the game?

We just beat Richmond by 25! If we beat the Bonnies, national attention will follow. The team I saw today is top 25. Smith was explosive, I love his athleticism.

I believe after the semester ends. Official closing date is 12/15. Might have to wait for grades to be posted, which would be 12/20.

And no T's for the first time in three games.
We should move up in the polls this week, but we'll need to beat both St. Bonnie and Bobby Morris (and maybe Memphis) before they'll start taking us seriously.

I doubt a win vs. St. Bonaventure will draw the national spotlight. IF we beat Robert Morris and Memphis on the road, THEN you'll start to see the national spotlight head our way. Several very tough games ahead, though.

My family and I made the trip down from Cleveland for the game, as I wanted to see us play one of the top teams on our non-conference schedule. We snuck down to the student section and literally sat courtside. Here were my impressions:
First half - we had some unforced errors on offense, but I would credit a spirited Richmond defense. They were a step ahead of us. We had trouble containing their own big guy. I was a little disappointed to see some arguing amongst our players. Keely seemed really bothered with the guards not getting him the ball. Richmond did a great job denying Kellogg from getting going. Walt made some nice plays to keep us close. And TJ Hall played some nice minutes when our other bigs got in foul trouble. He is a very versatile player
In the second half, we picked up the effort defensively and made sharper passes around the perimeter. Once the first three pointer went down, the floodgates opened for us. And we were very focused on the loose balls and rebounds. This team is so deep that one guy can be off (Keely) and someone else can pick him up (Smith/Hall).
I like what I see from this team....having been here during the Trent years, I appreciate the balance we play with now.
Great stuff today - Go Bobcats!

TJ was plenty active , he is an important part of this , quick hands, quick to spot up, and can flat out shoot/score ... Thrilled he isn't a red shirt this year

I think me and my boys may have been sitting next to '97 Cat.
The 1st half just set me up to be amazed by the 2nd half. The Spiders wern't allowing any good looks from any distance, and we adjusted well. I thought early on that this felt like an Offutt kind of game and it was...his agressive drives and ability to draw the fouls helped.
This team can go thru "stagnant" periods that can make us fall behind or let teams back in, but they are far from prone to give up big runs...most likely because of our outstanding defense. On the flipside, we can explode on a team with massive runs that can put the game away in a hurry...we have done it in every game thus far.
Brothers may have had some success scoring on our bigs bbut he got owned on the boards. #22 Robbins had a terible game.

1st half Williams had his way in the paint - vs OUr bigs, and w/the refs. He was the aggressor, and we could not stop him. They also hit quite a few shots w/hands right in their faces. We did not penetrate enough in the first half, driving and/or drive/dishing.
The tempo uptick in the second half, off continued tough D, some turnovers/rebounds into quick transition, snappy perimeter ball/body movement, all led to more open looks for OUr 3 shooters. I said at the end of the first half "we have to get OUr shooters open and shoot more 3's. We did a better job of denying Williams the ball in the paint as well, and their Hail Mary's weren't falling.
Depth of OUr bench was a real advantage. Smith, Kellog, and Offut had great games. Cooper and Baltic solid. Hall very productive w/short minutes, Johnson good D role minutes.
Reggie tough day vs Williams. The coaching staff made it clear he needs to "Dunk the "GD" ball" - "With two hands" - when right at the basket. When you get the step on a big like Williams no time for finesse - time for "instinctive" authority.............(the way Williams was taking it to OUr bigs 1st half).
