Too bad the Detroit-Pitt game isn't at 4:00 or you could make it a triple header.

Thats true. Ray would hook me upin a heartbeat......and my boy PJ and pops would be happy to have the hometown support.

I can't believe I've never thought of this kind of thing. With all the D1 basketball teams in the DC area (Maryland, Georgetown, George Washington, George Mason, Navy, American, Towson, Coppin State, Morgan State, UMBC, Loyola) it sounds like a great day to spend with my boys.  I've been to every school in the area but never more than one in a day.  Awesome idea.

I've always wanted to hook up a day in Dayton or Cincinnati doing that.

Van

the college level in your area would be pretty awesome. I think if Ohio ever comes out your way again I will have to take Amtrak back down and fill up a weekend with multiple games. Fun. You got some pretty good HS hoops in your immediate area as well. YOur boys should be hitting all the HS games and seeing the future prime time players. When I lived in Chicago I got my frineds to head out to Westinghouse, Proviso,, westchester, Senn, Roosevelt and even out to Buffalo Grove to see HS hoops. Pretty good value for the money.

Country if you want to do a day when Cincy and X are playing at different times on the same day and we have a free day  I  can get on the pass list at both schools and we can get a twofer in CIncy. May be a bit harder to do Wright/UD but Cincy or X are locks. Of course we are fortunate to have the Wooden Classic in INdy with some decent ball clubs without changing venues.

For now, PGH is the place Hotwire got me at the OMNI downtown for cheap,  a block away from  Duquesne so shoot around in the am, Parmanti Bros for lunch, Dukes game, Ground ROund, Cats game and post game back downtown. It is going to be a good weekend.

RMU ......I am totally wanting to get this game . I am sooooo tired of losing to these guys.

Tell Zach just to be glad that place has been renovated.  Last time I was in there, it was mostly if not all bleachers.
