I watched the game during OU/Memphis commercials, then was able to watch the end of it because our game started earlier.  That game got really ugly in the end.  There were 5 ejections on that play alone.  Both teams are full of street-ballers.  It's reminded me of a typical Akron/Kent game.

It's too bad the O Zone will be away from school for the Marshall game. A couple hundred students yelling "Ow! My balls!" ala "Idiocracy" would have been appropriate.

Until proven differently, that is exactly what I think of this Marshall team.  They're worse that Akron/Kent to me.

This is the Marshall that some would happily welcome back to the MAC.  And McKinney is on record as saying they they wouldn't cheat again, although they cheated extensively in both earlier periods of membership.

This school would bring a net zero to our league.

. not sure why so many Ohio fans go there if they bring nothing. Others seem to disagree with your statement.

Good regional rivalry but an institution-wide lack of ethics. I like having them on the schedule for most sports, but I don't care if they are in the conference or not. If we are going to demand high ethics from our member institutions, then Akron should be asked to leave immediately. As long as they are still in the league, we can't say Marshall doesn't also fit.

I dislike Akron as much or more than the next guy, but I don't get the ethics thing.  Akron has never been found guilty of a major NCAA infraction.
