Please....please....please put him on the bench.  I think he played every minute of the game tonight and was absoulutely no impact.  1/8 from the field on fade away jumpers is unacceptable.  Why does every play run through him?  Because the other team always leaves him open!!  He gets his rebounds when nobody is around.  Drive to the basket or take a seat on the bench!!!

Totally agree.  Watched the game on tv and Green has alot more toughness than Baltic.

No impact? Huh? Led us in boards with 10 and had 9 assists.FYI .. there's more to the game than scoring. Sure he had an off game offensively but he contributed elsewhere. And with Smith sitting due to fouls we needed someone to get some boards. We've been getting trashed on the boards so it was refreshing to see us hold our own tonight.

Thanks Jerry, Ivo had off night shooting, that happens, but he had solid production!

I see no evidence yet that Kadeem Green deserves to start. DJ set him up nicely tonight. I think Reggie is long overdue to start.

Ivo has been rebounding pretty well lately, which has been good to see, but clearly, his offensive game has been a mess.

Baltic leads the team in rebounding, 3pt%, 2nd in assist, Blocks, Steals, And 3rd in points and some of you want him to walk the plank????? The bigger question Is where would team be without him?

In 35 minutes he was:

1st play of the game, off the tip, did not react to help and allowed uncontested lay-up.

1-8 fgm-fga
0-2 3ptm-3pta
0-2 ftm-fta (and of the total brick variety)
2 pts (that's a big 2 in 35 minutes)

9 assts (sounds good - but what would happen taking it to the hole more - or being more often the one getting "assisted" - in the paint?)

10 rb - about half were of the uncontested variety (off missed ft, nobody w/in 6 feet, etc.)
2 orb
8 drb
UMASS had one player 5 orb, another 4 orb (where was the position, blocking out)

1 stl
5 to (tied DJ for team lead)

Right now I don't see how more Keely and Green can be any worse - almost certainly would be better Combined they were in 27 minutes played (8 less than Baltic):

7-10 fgm
14 pts

7 rb
1 orb
6 drb

2 stl
4 to

Stat that is not kept - "points allowed by being out of position, not helping, getting burned on roll into the paint" - way too much of that tonight.

As well - Rico certainly better on defense.

If I were coaching this team, I probably would try a combination of Green, Keely and Smith at the 4 & 5.  I think Green has been a little better than advertised, but his offensive game appears only a slight bit better than Smith's and probably a slight bit worse than Reggie's (granted the sample size has been very small).  Green looks like he has very limited offensive moves, but one thing he does do is hang around the paint and pick up a handful of junk baskets.  This team really doesn't have this type of player and it looks like he knows his place on the court and fill some space underneath.

Ultimately however, Baltic needs to get it going if we're going to get it going as a team.  Walt showed signs of his old self in the first half and the last missing peice is Ivo.  We have nobody else on the roster who has his skill set when he's going right.   TJ is the next closest thing and he's strictly  a jump shooter.   He started the game as though the light had gone on and was being somewhat aggressive taking it to the rim.  Then, he reverted back to his seasons norm.

But until Ivo gets it, I would experiment with a starting lineup of DJ, Nick, Walter, Green/Smith and Keely/Smith and bring Ivo in at the 3.
