I'll be the first to say he's doing a great job this season. Having that team at 8-4 with some quality wins - my hats off to him. All seriousness.

Well, we know he's better than John Groce at one thing now.

O'Shea might have been aloof or not warm and fuzzy while in Athens.  But, he was a nice guy.  So, good for him.

Agree.  Its good to see that program making major strides this season so far.  Hope the NEC season goes well for them.

They've beaten BC and Lehigh, both pretty good teams.

Kudo's to Tim, The Mortician, O'Shea. Wish the guy no ill, really. While we all know he wanted OUT of Athens as they say Green Acres ain't for everyone.

I still think that team that lost by an "airball" to a Florida team stocked with NBA talent in the NCAA's was one of the best balanced we have had in Athens in ages. Fears, Whitney, Sonny, Mychael, Leon, Harbut, McGowen, Halbert had both an inside and outside presence.

The Buffalo "tip-in" win in the MAC tourney is still one of my "all-time" greatest sporting events.

I know Tim was not universally loved while here but he did produce some good things and left us with the never ending O'Sheaism "it's just life on the road in the MAC".

I still can't believe we lost that Florida game on an "airball."

To think we were down like 20+ points. I was at the game, but told that CBS took viewers away from the Ohio-Florida game it was so lopsided, only to bring the game back with like six minutes left.
