I know Nick has an injury and that might be the reason he has shot so poorly recently, but I am curious what people think is going on with him.  Re Borna's shooter-maker comments in another thread, do people think Nick is just another shooter, or is he a maker?

Nick Kellogg was top 20 in the country in True Shooting % last year. If that doesn't make him a "maker" I don't know what does. He is going through a slump right now, but if he gets back to 100% health I would expect him to get hot again soon.

Of course Nick is a maker.

I do not see teams coming off of him yet. I did remark that his shot has changed a bit. He used to land forward of where he shot. I have not been able to get any of the rewinds or highlights to look at from say Akron 2 years ago or games where he shot the ball well but you would expect that at this point with the owrk inthe weight room and the increased strength he would be more deadly. Just has not worked out and those teams with game plans are taking him out of the mix rather effectively with their defensive plans.  .

And we aren't making it very hard for them to do that - with no offensive pressure inside to open him up more often...........
