Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's ESPN3 that has the game at 6pm, and in Ohio it's on STO?


Anyone know if the Buffalo area gets STO?  I'll be taking a break from the slopes around 5:45 to hopefully catch this game in the lodge.  Go Cats!


If the place your at has Directv, yes, they'll have STO most likely.

But if they have Fios or Time Warner, they won't have the game.


ESPN3 - find the wi-fi that is hopefully there.


It's also on the ESPN Full Court pay service (DirecTV channel 721).

Psyched for this game. This is a big one, 6-0 in the MAC would be nice.

Pick up a tough road W tonight & then cruise against EMU on Wednesday. Sounds good to me.

Two things.......DJ Carleston, the lurch looking ref, has it in for the Cats tonight, and the screamer in the gym is very *&^%&$ annoying.

That screamer has been there for years. I thought someone had said before that she was a special needs woman, but her/her family are huge fans and are there every game. That may also be completely false.

How well did we travel to the game?  It looked like we had a good crowd behind the bench, but that may be because of their setup.

I'd estimate 400ish Bobcat fans in the building.

I've documented it here before, but I am happy to state it again. The MAC Center is my least favorite basketball arena I've ever been in. I know some middle school gyms in Cincinnati that are more favorable than the MAC Center. There are so many hallways and stairways that lead to God knows where. Nothing is clearly marked, so you always feel lost. The last time I was there was when the O Zone bus went in 2008, when we stood in the upper deck with an obstructed view of the scoreboard and no view of the video boards. Today I was six rows behind Kent's bench. Those seats are just like the O Zone bleachers, but since everyone there is sitting, you can't walk anywhere, you have someone's knee in your back, and you go home with sore butt bones. Absolute worst.

I first noticed the Kent State screamer last year during broadcasts. She's not as loud in person. The TV microphones pick her up well.

As for the game, I love that all five of our starters are capable of going off for 20 on any given night. It's so tough to prepare for. Two of our main guys combine for three points and the others combine for 53. Gotta love it.

The worst part of that was when the board played flashing videos but it looked like a strobe light because we couldn't see the board.
