Don't know if the team is more focused on Wednesdays or just playing lesser opposition, but the average margin of victory so far is 16 on Wednesdays (Buff 18, NIU 18, @Fiami 12) but only 4 on Saturdays (@WMU 2, Toledo 9, @Kent 1).

Except for the NIU game, EMU's MAC games have been close -- 7 pts was the biggest margin, a home loss to Fiami.  I expect them to play a lot of zone, since that gives us fits.

it's the lesser opposition.

Would anyone have extra tickets to this game?

I heard the Athens Big Brothers Big Sisters agency has a few OU students who would like to take their Little Brothers and Sisters to this game and need tickets for the kids...

Wow.  That's ridiculous.

It's also what I call a win-win.  Bet EMU, and even if you lose some $$, you get to go to bed knowing we absolutely drubbed them.

Emu facts, according to poster  xmrblondex on SB Nation:

Emus can be as tall as 6 feet tall
Emus are an endangered species, but only in Europe
Emus have hooves that help them keep their feet clean
Emus will eat anything as log as you feed it to them
Emus should be looked at from a distance, as they get ornery when confronted
Emus are an animal
Emus can breathe above water, but not under it

Bet Ohio, so when we win you know your next trip to Court Street will be extra special.

I'll still be shocked if they cancel the game.  I am only using 2 of my 4 if someone needs them and wants to PM me for the extra 2.

Really an over reaction, the dining halls are open.   Who made that call?  If you're in Athens beware of smelly perp carrying a gun. His odor will precede him by a mile

I am just curious has Loyola of Chicago, St John's or Columbia in NYC, Georgia Tech in Atlanta, USC or UCLA in Los Angeles, among a plethora of college campuses located within large urban areas ever cancelled a game because an armed perpetrator may or may not be in the area? I don't recall ever hearing of such a thing.

OHIO didn't close or cancel classes on 9/11, or when Pearl Harbor occurred for that matter (granted, Pearl Harbor was on a sunday)

Is there any chance the rescheduled game gets picked up by STO? It's the only MAC game scheduled for 2/20, and STO has been broadcasting Wednesday night games. I just checked STO's schedule for 2/20, and it's just a bunch of reruns. I gotta think they'd like to broadcast another game, especially one featuring one of the top teams in the conference.

I don't know anything about the MAC's contract with STO, but if they have the budget to pay the talent and production to broadcast another game, I hope they take advantage of it.

My understanding is that the attendance at the cancelled game was EMU's biggest crowd of the year.
