Oh man there's gonna be lots of beef in DeKalb this year. They just lost another player, Darweshi Hunter, to a fellow MAC schoool - Miami. Kaleb Thornton is already signed with Akron.

Yea, I wanted Reid too and thought we could realistically land him. Tough to see him go to another mid-major, in our state; that’s on our schedule next season. Speaking of Youngstown, also landed EJ Farmer from Toledo today.

Hoping the silence means announcements are coming soon as well. Especially with YSU completing its offseason shopping list and we had a similar head start on the portal.

Just as a point of reference we signed Wiz last year April 15, Hunter April 25 and Baker May 19 so we hadn't signed anyone by this point last year either. But we're definitely in the window for getting someone and hearing it #soon.

Twitter seems to be better resource of that this year. For not only Boals, but the rest of the staff. The only news I’ve seen on offers actually extended are to Myles Che, Shereef Mitchell, and Keyshawn Hall (according to his dad). Haven’t seen anything on visits.

I forgot all about that kid.

Would've been a nice 'redemption' story, but you can't fault Boals for going with Ogbonda from Georgia Tech, a young BVP, and a duo of 6'10" freshman... or the other freshman... Miles and Michael Brown, Roderick, McDay.

+ JP in there... Boals had a TON of young guys on that roster. Is what it is.
