15 players log minutes for the Clippers last night, that is pretty crazy. And unfortunately the bench clearing was due to being blown out. Love that he got the chance, hope he gets another one soon to erase the sour taste of those free throws.

Good point, but I think he mainly got in because the Clippers played the night before. Clipps coach waved the white flag early, pulling starters with 4:30 left down by fifteen points.

If they had the Elam ending, they would have had a chance.

I was wondering if this was the case. The Clips were getting smoked last night and ESPN wasn't even listing Jay as being on the bench for the game.

A little disappointing but probably best for him. He’ll get lots of PT and he’s getting NBA money. Even if his future is limited with Clippers other teams will see him and his options will be greater.

Last year of guaranteed money, next year it's based on making the team and subject to roster spot. After missing last year, he just needs to play.

Jason played 6 minutes last night in the Clippers 118-112 win over Portland. He made the only three point shot he took to score his first NBA points. Congrats JP!!

Edit: Sorry I didn’t see someone posted this last night in the G League thread.

Nah this is the proper thread being in the big boy league. He also had 1 assist and no turnovers. Super exciting to see, hope he can find more opportunities.

This is awesome. I'd have to think if he continues to play well for Ontario he's going to get some NBA run this year at some point, even if it's low volume of minutes.

To get PT in a game that was only a six point game is pretty impressive. This makes me think there's hope he can move into the rotation this year.

He is so easy to root for. Incredible ambassador for the university and basketball program. Boals should just have the made basket and the announcers saying..."he played three years at Ohio"...pinned on his twitter page. Great for recruits to see that immediately.

JP played three minutes off the bench last night in a 112-125 loss, went 1-2 for 2pts and got a rebound and an assist.

I watched some of it towards the end. He looked like he belonged out there. Plus, he was guarding Fox some too

Heading out Hornets/Clippers game - decked out in Ohio gear. Have tix across from Clippers bench. Hope our man made the trip east and gets a few minutes.

Nice - watching the game on right now, don’t think Preston is on the bench

I saw Red Panda at the IU/Xavier game couple weeks ago.

Appreciate what you did see though. Leonard, George, and Wall combining for 70+ minutes in one game. It must be like seeing Bigfoot.

Looks like he was reassigned to Ontario on Saturday. Started Sunday against Oklahoma City Blue, played 29 minutes, 4-7 FGM/A, 1-3 3PM/A, 5 RB, 10 AST, 1 TO for 9 pts. Next game on Thursday unless he is called back up.

This is the type of game he needs to show he has to crack the Clippers rotation. Elite ball management (high A/TO) with efficient limited shot-making ability and solid rebounding.

+1. Will definitely work his way back into LAC's roster with more games like this. I've seen some Clippers fans even say he should be on roster permanently.
