I think tonight is the last "best chance" Akron has of dropping a conference game outside of their trip to Athens. How I would love for the 'Cats to sow up the outright regular season title against the Redhawks in March...

I'm surprised Bowling Green is favored against Western, even if it's by 1 point and it's a home game for the Falcons.

Take over on Ohio. CMU only have 1 good player.

The better team is the road team in 5 of these 6 games.   Could make for an interesting evening.

I've been thinking about this since Saturday.  I wouldn't go so far as that with the "last best chance".  I do think it's one of a couple games.  It does highlight the urgency of takin' care of business in Mt. Pleasant though for Ohio.  Other tough games, besides the 2/27 game, that they could lose include @Buffalo and the last game at home vs Kent (given the rivalry).

You're oversimplifying.  Did you see CMU almost beat Akron at Akron recently?

Also, are you factoring in Ohio's travel problems on this trip?

I think the Dispatch spread of 9 is about correct.  I expect an Ohio win.  But I don't think it will be easy necessarily.  And we have to show up and play well to win at all.

If I were in Vegas I would be betting CMU, EMU and Fiami.

Akron's lack of mental toughness continues to rear its ugly head. Can't wait to get them down by 20 with the Ozone chanting "over-rated".

He DID say take the over, not lay the points.

I expected Eastern to play with Akron.  Their style of play gives them a shot against a lot of teams.

I can't believe Northern Illinois and Ball State got to 108 combined points.
