Thanks.  I would have loved growing up in that culture.  We had baskets on peoples property in southern Ohio but it's not quite the same intensity.

Fun read. I did grow up about 3 miles from the Indiana line in SW Ohio. My first hoop was on the side of a barn. Dribbled in dirt, and occasional mud. Great for practicing FT's by yourself - would bounce off the barn right back at ya............
