1.) Better hope we don't see Kent State in MAC Semis.
2.) If Nick Kellogg doesn't start making 3-point shots, we will have great difficulty winning games in March.

I'd like to see a shot chart for Nick Kellogg. Just from what I've seen, it seems like his shots right at the 3-point line are very accurate. But when he's a step back from the line, he leaves every attempt short - like there's no adjustment in how much force he puts into the shot.

1) You're right.  Kent is much improved from earlier in the year.  They might be the #4 seed, even with no better than an 8-8 MAC record (they have Buff & BGSUcks at home; Fiami and Akron on the road).  Being the #2 seed and facing WMU might be more appealing at this point.

2) I've been wondering if Nick's hand is fully healed or is still causing him some problems.  His 3-pt stroke has been off since the injury.  He's only had one game in the last 10 where he hit more than a third of his 3s.

But I'll take Nick's defense at the end of the game!!  What a strip of the ball against Holt and basket to secure the win!!  Nick played great when it counted the most.

Four Things: DJ wasn't 100 percent and left the game to throw up. If we had a healthy DJ it could have been an 8 point win.

And The OZONE was the best it was all year. I don't know if it was playing on ESPNU, but we were energetic and lively for about 85 percent of the time.

Mark..great point and I was just about to mention this. He was the only guy on the court who seemed to understand that Kent could still tie it up. He hustled his butt off to contest the final shot.

I've been wondering the same thing.  I also wonder why we don't go with TJ when Nick's shot is off.  Might help in the rebounding department to have DJ, Walt, TJ, Ivo and Reggie on the court at the same time.

I also wondered during the game why when we're getting little/no production from the #4 spot and getting eaten alive on the boards by a very physical team like KSU, we don't put Kadeem in during these types of games?  It's very clear JC is not going to use him this season, but this is the kind of game where I move TJ into the 3 spot and play Kadeem with the Reggie/Smith rotation.  While Kadeem is very raw, he still appears to live in the paint and is big/physical enough to help in these types of games where it's brutal apparent Ivo is going to add zero value.

The problem was the times where you were silent.  ESPN's people were critical of the OZONE calling themselves one of the best in the country when the OZONE was subdued.  Just one of those things where on national tv with ESPN you have to bring it the whole game.  But I understand that isn't the easiest thing to do, experienced the same problem with the Nordecke for the Crew games at times.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the 110 being there  almost no one would jump around.

Watch the replay of the final moments Saturday - Walt was back on Evans when the final heave occurred.

For all you fans who want to see Kadeem;  JC wants to win.  If he thought Kadeem gave the team a better chance to win, he'd play him.  He obviously does not feel he will help, thus, he does not play.  He must not be showing anything in practice. Don't be surprised if he's gone after this season.  He wasn't JC's recruit.

I'd be surprised if Kadeem transfers.  He has already burned a redshirt and a season transferring once..  Unless he doesn't feel he can see the court next year, I think he will be back.  That said, we do have a lot of bigs coming in.

Two more years of him, I'm sure we'll see a lot more of his smiling face.  His missed free throws late in the game were huge.
