Bull.  The ozone is completely overrated. If it weren't for the band, no one in that section would have been heard today.  The band took up 1/3 of the section and the rest of the student body couldn't even fill the rest?  Pathetic. I don't care about the time. It wasn't that early.

Damn kids.

I attribute this to the fact that I had class until 1pm today (Soccer coaching). I showed up with 8 minutes left and OT. When I showed up, we started to get our act together. :D

The youg lady was very good.  Obviously did her background work on Ohio, Kent and the MAC.  Agree she was honest and spot on.  Obviously, she's played the game and understands it and ,yes, knows a "bad three" when she sees it.  And yes, we did take a ton of bad ones.  Aso, as Christian said we have a bunch of guys not shooting with confidence now (probably ivo and nick).  They passed up some of the best shots of the night (guess who) or tried to pass the ball out of the lane instead of going strong to the hoop (guess who).

I'm usually a sexist pig who hates women announcers.....but she was excellent....as good as I've ever heard....but then I don't watch or listen to a lot of women's b-ball.

Brooke's really good. Great HS player from Cincinnati, and a great analyst. I listened to Russ & Rob on the radio today, but she's usually spot on. Glad to see she got to work our game.

I am not wanting this conversation to go in any different direction but DCF is spot on. THe band showed the OZone up big time. THe Ozone is a mere shadow of it's former self. Numbers, Intensity, Creativity.

Throwing out the GTFO just shows me you have no handle on this situation. THose of us who have seen the change are merely pointing out what is obvious. That little lol shows me you ain't got a clue. I do not know the answer and think it is counter productive for a whole bunch of people to pile on but the Ozone is clearly lacking a direction  and is not the force in college basketball it used to be. 

Perhaps some threads over in the Ozone section with Ozone alums is more in order and would provide more constructive dialogue that putting it out here.....or the band can continue to steal the show.

I agree. I remember when the entire section was filled without the band taking up half of it. Also, what happened to the matching ozone shirts? I thought the best part about the ozone, and what made it a true student section was that you could actually tell everyone belonged because of the matching shirts. If this was a blackout game, fine, get matching black ozone shirts. They looked sloppy on national tv yesterday.

It was there last night, as well as this morning.  I couldn't get enough of the incredible emotion and energy of the final minute or so and had to watch it this morning over the morning cup of Joe. 

Am I the only one who looks back on this broadcast and thinks OHIO comes away from it looking like fantastic?  The broadcast seemed to capture a lot of positive things in the Convo yesterday if you're looking at it as an outsider just watching the game.
