On the way to Nashville for the game.  I am curious to see what other Bobcat Attack posters are predicting we will see from the 'Cats tonight.  We have played a small number of legit quality teams on the road this year, and we know how those games have gone.  Has this team improved enough in the second half of the season to come out on top tonight against a very good Belmont team?  Who will step up on the big stage, in a big game?

Looks like we are actually a little taller in the front court. They have a 6-11 dude averaging 1.2 ppg, which tells you something. Ian Clark is the guy to stop for sure. He's 6-3 so I imagine a steady dose of Walt and Nick on him. I can't imagine our boys would not come to play. Every game should mean something for the Seniors when you know the end is in sight. National stage - ESPN2 - Cats get it done. Ivo and/or Nick breakout game?

I feel really really good about this game. My gut is that their perimeter guys are not going to beat our perimeter guys on either end of the court. I have a feeling we will play our A game and win by 10.

This being an away game against a team with a pulse, I have to say Belmont by 11.  I truly hope I'm wrong, but I'm not convinced winning against MAC teams lately means very much.

Late season national TV roadie against a pretty good team--should be a reasonable barometer of where we are.

I want to see that March edge, where everyone is crisp, DJ is controlled, and there's an obvious game plan being executed. To me this is a bigger dress rehearsal for Cleveland and beyond than any of our remaining conference games.

This team has a next gear, I put it on the coaches to get them there.

Rick Byrd was on the radio the other day here in NashVegas and said 1300 students tickets had already been claimed.  Being in the shadow (almost literally) of an SEC school, they already have a "we get no respect" chip on their should over there.  Their student body will be loud and hostile.  The Bobcats will have to be ready to play.  If they are expecting a meek and mild crowd because Belmont is a small private school originally from a religious heritage, that would be the wrong expectation.  It will be an NCAA tourney atmosphere in a smaller arena.

I can't wait to go pull for the Bobcats!!  As we say in the south - GET 'ER DONE!!
