Literally right in front of my place on the 100 block of state street. I heard the shots, tons of cops came and later on some guy just walked up and it looked like he turned himself in. I'd say the game is def still on.

FWIW the 100 block of East State is not "on campus" and not close enough for the powers-that-be to claim there is a danger to the campus.  Still don't know what this is all about though.

There was an attempted aggravated robbery outside of Lincoln Hall last night as well. Some students living in the dorm didn't even hear about it until this afternoon. What is happening in Athens?

You're probably right but is the above a trivial item?  Gunshots on OUr campus or somewhere else in town?  Seems to me that there are reasons not to think this is trivial.
