What's great for me is I just watched this last night after catching up on Attack U: http://youtu.be/ZLuP5T5AvmQ

Dan didn't get me to go to the games, but he inspired me (and my friends) to keep coming.  He had a way of making seem important, without being pompous, needy, or lame.  He was an all-around fun dude.

I'd also like to thank you for posting this. Dan and I went to high school together I can still remember sitting next to him in chemistry class chatting about college choices.

I can totally vouch for Dan being first in line in 2001-- the first year of the Ozone. I was seventh in line. Our two groups of friends made up pretty much half the first row of the student section.

Those were the days....when the band sat behind a basket and there was no first row blocking the students from the action!

He was a high quality human being and is definitely missed by many.

Really classy guy, that Zac Jackson. I was glad to help him on his piece, and I wish I could've met Dan Lowe.

I can't believe it's been almost 8 years.  I never met Dan but it's still an emotional read.

Am I right that his seat at games (where the plaque is) goes unoccupied - left for him.

What a cool ritual it would be for the players to come up and touch the plaque before each game - ala Clemson touching the rock, ND touching the banner.

That was the case for a while at least. Can't speak to now.

I didn't think that stuck. I thought it was being filled by someone who embodies his passion (which since it's front and center basically happens by default).
