Not a classic by any means, but I'll take the win.  I watched it via webcast from Beaufort, S.C., where I'm for Spring Break.  I thought that the UB announcers were fairly even handed in their descriptions of events, though obviously rooting for the home team.  Again, down the stretch our free throw shooting leaves a lot to be desired.  But, once again, it's Coop with the clutch shot -- this time the three to put Ohio ahead.   And, what in the world was that missed everything three attempt from Ivo.  Though I've seen Ivo make that shot, he's certainly not the guy you want taking a three at that crucial juncture of the game.  OK, I'll quit my bitching, and just say I'm very happy that we won, and let's get Miami to end the regular season and go into the tournament with a head of steam.  GO OHIO!

Precisely. A win on the road, is a win on the road.

Phew, out rebounded by 16 but generated 18 turnovers. Cooper - 24 points and 5 assists - will be hard shoes to fill next year - a man among boys

They had 20, we had only 7.

And maybe our lowest Assist/FG ratio of the season: only 11 assists in 29 FGs.

Many of us believed Ohio would drop either the Bowling Green or Buffalo games on the road so picking up 2 W's is a nice result. A win against Miami this weekend and Ohio would have swept the MAC in the regular season Akron excepted. There should be a great Bobcat turnout in Cleveland for this #2 seed team.

Buffalo just beat Akron by 14. I don't think "A win is a win is a win" is even close to accurate. This is one of our 5 or 6 best wins on the season.

I think I heard that Buffalo had won 11 straight senior day games before tonight. Big win.

I was there. That game got weird in the final 6 seconds. Very weird.

There was a long pause in game play before DJ put up his last 3 of the game. He was talking (jawing?) with some UB people sitting under the UB basket. I'm 90% sure that one of them dared him to jack up a 3 on the next position and he said something to the effect of "you got it".

It wasn't pretty, but this team is 13-2 in MAC play, a better win total by 2 than we'd ever put together in a 16-game MAC season. I'm proud to say that I was there to see DJ get his 2000th point (and his 2018th point for that matter).

We beat them on Sr Night up there when KVK was a senior I thought.

did anyone else enjoy watching an aggressive Ivo? sure he had some oops - but boy it was nice to see him look like he enjoyed being on the floor and going hard on the offensive end.

welcome back Ivo - you've been missed.

Thanks, PalmerFest, for the tip.  We'll have to check that out next time.  We are now in Hilton Head.  Any tips here, or in Charleston, where will be Saturday and Sunday?  Tonight we went to an HH restaurant called Wise Guys and tomorrow we are having breakfast at place called Stacks.  We've been there before, and It's a great place.  We'll be watching the 'Cats again on Saturday via the wonders of the Internet.  Go OHIO!

I just double checked and they beat us by 3 on their Senior night KVK's last year. They haven't lost on their senior night at least since 2004. I stopped looking prior to that year.

thanks BT. I remember talking to KVK after that game and correcting his number of games he had remaining. He had set his number way too low IMHO
