His court date isn't until after the tournament.  Innocent until proven guilty.  I know teams tend to keep guys suspended, but it does create an interesting dilemma.  What if he is proven innocent?  The more I think about, the more I think he should be allowed to play.  Not because I think he is innocent, FYI.   I would hate another Duke LAX situation....

I don't think he will play, unless Akron goes back on what they've said about the situation so far, which is that he's suspended while the legal process is sorted out. I think it is the right way to handle it. As a school, you don't want to be playing a guy who turns out to be guilty of this crime. It would be apparent that the school is looking out for its own interests first by doing so.

Ya I don't think he will play either.  I guess the question is given our legal system, should he play?  Situations like this are always sticky.

According to the press release he's suspended until Akron police finish their investigation.  They could already be done, or they might need a fair amount of time.
