This needs to be a revenge game for this group after last year's embarrassing performance against the Titans. If memory serves me right, this was probably the worst game we played last year and it was over in a matter of minutes.

They play at Ole Miss tomorrow. That means flying into Memphis and taking a bus to Ole Miss, then flying into Columbus and taking a bus into Athens. They should be sick of travel by Saturday afternoon. We should fast break on every defensive rebound and maybe they won't have legs by the second half.

Not a good look for Ole Miss.

Prop bet #1 - Cat's are averaging 34 rebounds a game. Football team scored 34 last night. Does the basketball team out rebound the football score?

KenPom gives Ohio an 89% chance on winning with a projected score of 83-70.

Bart Torvik is even more confident. Gives OU a 91% chance and an average spread of -15.7

OU is gonna be hard to figure out most nights, because I think AJB/Elmore can and SHOULD go for 40-50 every single night. If any of the other pieces get hot, they will win those games 9 out of 10 times. If no one else steps up... we have what we had the other night where the whole team has between 12-14 and no one steps up as the leader to take those shots and run the offense through them.

40+ would be great, but I think 32-35 combined is a lot more realistic.

No money has changed hands - for entertainment purposes only. Though I do know an organization that will place pretty much any bet if you wish (I personally don't)

This is the type of game I appreciate the depth we have. Not great shooting days (and awful 3PT overall) from AJB, Jaylin, and EJ4 won’t happen often collectively. A combined 10 assists from Jaylin/Shereef, solid minutes from Gabe, 12 points from Ike, and 18 from Clayton; no Miles again. This team is still scratching the surface.

Would love to see AJB and EJ4 getting back to slashing more like they did against Troy. Let’s go to Nassau.

Best thing about today’s game is Ike continuing to shake the rust off. This is big for Bahamas on deck. Hopefully there is no lingering shoulder issues for AJ moving forward. I hope it explains his shooting because he was really bad today. Good to see The Whiz with the Dikembe finger wag. You don’t mess with The Whiz at the iron. Nice stat line for The Whiz.

Let’s face it, Detroit was brutal. I have no idea what offense they were running, but they did enjoy running the shock clock down to zero every possession.

On to the Bahamas.
