They had a tight game against our future opponent Defiance.

Seriously, Cleveland St. is picked fourth in the Horizon.
They lost by two to Duquesne. The Dukes are picked fourth in the A-10 preseason poll.

Looks to be a pretty good test for the Cats first road game.

Like us, they're also powered by two good guards. They have pretty decent size, their starting SG is 6'4" and doesn't have to play PF, so that helps. Their 3-4-5 men are between 6'8" and 6'9".

They hit a lot of 3's. Don't take a lot of bad shots.

Their leading scorer Lowder was 6-9 from 3 vs Duquesne. Their first guy off the bench, 6'7" Woodrich, is also 6-9 from 3 this season.

Should be a good game. Looking forward to seeing Wiz grow, and more importantly, know his limitations. If my guy becomes Dennis Rodman of the MAC, we're gonna have a big season. I think we all just have to accept that AJC is not an aggressive player. Would love to see Cornish steal those minutes. Jaylin won't have many games where he shoots 8%, but he should learn he can be a distributor first. Elmore and AJB can't score 50 every night, but it's gonna be fun watching them try.

*edit*
And by Dennis Rodman, I mean 2 points on 0/0 shooting and 10 rebounds.

Wish I could make the trip for this one, should be a solid game. I love these non-con in-state matchups.

I do have a trip planned to watch OUr guys against Davidson at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on 12/30, slight venue upgrade from the Wolstein Center.

Disappointed to be out of town for this one. Next to no one goes to Vikings games and tickets are pretty cheap - $12 gets you in and $20 gets you prime seating. Even with a third of the arena walled off, it's cavernous. Anyone in the area should try to get there because outnumbering their fans and making this a "home" game is do-able.

Unrelated, but whatever happens I hope we know how many timeouts we have left.

Would love to see a spark of anything out of Cornish.

Some aggressive play, some intensity. The guy was a consensus 4 star out of h.s.

Never forgot our record-setting 40-0 run against these guys a few years ago.

prop bet. they have three starters whose first name begins with T. Tristan Enaruna, Tae Williams, Tevin Smith. Combined they average 33.5 - Our various AJs / Ajay combined for 34 in our win over Troy.

who wins the scoring battle between the Ts and the Ajs ?

Time for an intervention. Let us know next time you plan on being in Athens. I'll get the boys back in town (Thin Lizzy tune comes to mind).

Mike Fratello as announcer, in his opinion said something like, "Dennis Rodman was the finest athlete in the NBA during my coaching career."

I am not sure anyone on the Bobcat team can be said to be the finest MAC athlete let alone OUr gentle giant! But hey, if he can continue to be coached up and concentrates and practices hard, he should certainly contribute to the improvement of the team. Perhaps Wiznitzer can ditch the head band and bleach his hair to get some Rodman effect?

Got three seats for CSU Vikings.

GO OHIO's Green and White; out duel the other G&W.

Perhaps he can stop untucking his jersey (it doesn’t actually bother me, just odd). I can’t remember watching a game at any level where a player untucks his jersey the entire time.

I don't recall a Bobcat dunk in the opener. How about taking bets on who gets Ohio's first slam? Wiz, AJB, EJ, Hunter or Clayton?

I’ll be in the 2nd row across from our bench. Bringing my daughter (first OU game!) and one my buddies, who is also an OU alum. Been looking forward to this one for a while.

I would like not to see any offensive let downs during this game like we had last time out. This Cleve team will take advantage of these let downs much better than Troy did.

My guy, Clayton had an alley-oop off the inbound from Jaylin.

I don't think this will be much of a dunk year.

Of course. Not sure why I couldn't recall such a nice alley-oop.
