I'm really surprised there hasn't been much chatter on here about Ike's podcast appearance because I got more info out of Ike than any "so called" media member covering the program the last 12 months.

A couple of highlights:

*AJ Brown not practicing because of a foot injury. I won't panic over this, but this is now a shoulder and a foot for AJ since coming to Athens.

*Ike is close friends with Marvin Price.

*He knew Boals because Boals offered him in 9th grade when Boals was at Stonybrook

*Ike tailors his game like Devon Booker

*He was attracted to Ohio because of the Jason Preston story.

*Loves family atmosphere at Ohio

*Wants to lead and be a good teamate

*Likes to chill vs going out.

*Led a college life when he was in prep school

*Majoring in sports management

*Wants to stay locked in...easier to focus in Athens.

*Not into social media. Doesn't like instagram...thinks it's fake.

*Would Ike rather have game winning assist or game winning block. He said game winning block.

Really good interview and he came off extremely well. Seems like a great fit.

And just to clarify when I say Instagram fake I think he’s just talking about people making up stuff about their lives…etc….just a lot of fake people putting stuff out there to make themselves look better.

He just doesn’t get distracted and waste time on social.
