Why is that, who other than Zeke would win DPOY?  Nothing says you can't give a guy both awards.

I am kind of hoping though that between being one of the best 3 players in the conference this year, the voters would also take into account his career and what he has done in the MAC.

I felt Zeke was DJ's strongest competition for POTY. And no, nothing says they can't give a guy 2 awards but I don't remember them ever doing it. Do you?

I mean if the voters think that the Player of the Year also happens to be the Defensive Player of the Year...
