outsidetheredzone.com/  according to this article, we are on the outs and need to win MAC tournament to get in the tournament. Article has no mention of Akron.

They have Akron as a projected conference champion so that's why they probably don't have them mentioned as an at-large candidate.

It doesn't really matter though. The only way Ohio is going to make the NCAA Tournament is if we win the MAC Tournament this week.

I don't want to count our chickens before they hatch, but if we were to win or way in we would likely be a 13 seed again.

Here are some of the teams who we could see in the first round of the tournament.

3) Miami (FL)
3) Florida
3) New Mexico
3) OSU
4) Marquette
4) Kansas State
4) Arizona
4) Oklahoma State
5) Syracuse
5) Saint Louis
5) Pittsburgh
5) Wisconsin

Man, looking at this list and I am most concerned about winning in Cleveland. The faith I have in our current team is crazy...

Yahoo's Brad Evans has us as a 13 seed, if we make it.  His 4 seeds are Florida, Oklahoma St., Arizona and Kansas St.

I'm surprised anyone even considers us on the bubble.  Since the Belmont & 2nd Akron losses, our RPI isn't even in the ballpark (we're low 70s and the cut will be no higher than the low 50s).

Kansas St. and Zona would be nice match ups. UF and OKST would be tough.
