Pathetic display after the Michigan game. Crean's grin is ridiculously pompous too.

Not a Crean fan much but I can see where he is passionate and comes from. Sendy, McCallum and Meyer were complicit and underhanded and broke every rule you can imagine as well as took a great program down a path of loose morals, bad ethics and illegal acts. And yet.....they all seem to have landed on their feet and are still in coaching.

I am not an IU fan and never will be but I respect the passion of the program and the success they had over the years. Like RMK or hate him, he played by the rules and advocated for the NCAA to keep thier best interests in mind....and don't start with the the bad stuff....I know it is there.

Hard to believe an Indiana basketball coach would lose his temper and create a public spectacle...

I had a good friend who was on the coaching staff with Crean; needless to say, he did not have very good things to say about him! From what I understand, he can be a real AO to players and staff!!

I'm by no means a Michigan fan, but I like the way Belein handled this.

I think my favorite comment from the bottom of the article would have to be "I'd tell Tom Crean to act like he's been there before... but he hasn't" haha.

Same thing I heard here in IN Bball.  NOt a fan .....and his wife is way worse. Entitled would be a term to use. When we sat under the basket at State Finals the last coup0le of years I felt embarrassed for folks who were around her.

Dakich set the record straight today. Me talked about what he and Meyer endured as assistant coaches while Sendy, McCallum and Samson were there. Said that in NO WAY was Meyer part of the problem. I was misinformed. Crean may have been also. That said it is out of place to call him out in that situation.....but easy to understand given the passion he has for his program.

That said what he did pales in comparison to the stuff Hopson says to players in the handshake line.

I thought his weird joker smile was very creepy. The expression didn't match the emotion, very detached and sociopathic. Wouldn't be shocked if they found dead vagrants buried under his basement some day.
