With some teams' seasons finished, others nearing an end, and others getting ready for national tournaments, I'm usually thinking which MAC teams should be better next year, which will stay the same, and which teams look to suffer some from graduation.

Here's my take (what's yours?):

Look for improvement: WMU, EMU, UT, NIU (slight, but can only go up, no?), UB (despite coaching change), Akron (felt this way before Abreu's suspension, still do)

Not much change: BG, Miami (possible improvement), BSU, CMU

Lose too much: Ohio (still one of the league's top dogs but loses a great class), Kent (?)

Optimistically, I think the league improves overall.

We are going to be better than many in the MAC expect next year.

You can not replace a class like Cooper, Reg, Ivo and Walt.  You just can't.

However, a lot of our bench guys would be starters everywhere else in the MAC. I feel very optimistic about a Stevie/Bean, Kellogg, Hall/Johnson, N'Dour, Smith lineup.
