- 14-2 MAC record
- 24 Wins
- MAC Regular season championship
- MAC Tourney Finals
- Many big turnouts by Bobcat Nation

That is awesome.  Among the top 5 seasons in my 25 years following Bobcat Basketball.

Out of curiosity, what were the other top 5 seasons?

Thanks!

I agree with this thread.  I have enjoyed the past 4 years watching this group pf great Ohio players.  I'm thankful they chose Ohio to be their basketball home.  I will be at next years games to cheer on the awesome Jrs, Sophmores & Freshman of this team.  i will miss our great Seniors.

Crap I've turned old.  1983 and 1985 were good too!

Good list. I would rank the 1995 season  in the Top 5.

Pre-NIT champs.
Ranked #14 for a bit.

Yes, the season was disappointing (Boals blowing out his knee was the saddest sports moment I ever witnessed in person), but the above highlights should carry some weight.

Best years ever for me where the first few the Convo was open.  Taking it to those Big Ten teams that came to town, beating BG in front of tht Huge crowd.  Yep, winning the MAC and NCAA games.  Trouble is, without looking them up I can't remember if they were late 60s or early 70s.

You think the most recent loss to Akron was disappointing, watching Austin Carr go off on us for what seemed like 900 points in the NCAAs was VERY disappointing.  Then again, i can't remember was it "only" 60 some?

It was 61points that Carr scored. You can actually watch a very grain video of it on YouTube. Curt Gowdy is doing the play by play for NBC Sports.
