Hard fouls , punk moves.

Overlooking lower seeds.

When we beat them we had beer on everyone. BC, Providence....Tenessee, it seems like every school represented was buy ing anyone with OHIO gear on a beer.

When the Georgetown bus pulled out everyone wished them a happy good bye and a one finger wave.

amazing ball movement and tenacity

coach got a hot wife

Even  the announcers are outraged at what G town gets away with. I like the vocal announcers. Arguing that more than one player fouled him

I doubt it will ever happen but that really should be the nail in the coffin for JT3.

695....who's the Parkersburg kid who plays for Gulf Coast?  I seem to vaguely recall him.

That dunk was from a Parkersburg, WV kid. I remember a few years ago he grew 7 inches in a year during high school and I went to Groce to tell him he was flying under the radar. He would fit in our system. He was trained as a guard, then grew into a 6'8" body. I'm glad he ended up somewhere that would make him happy. He's a good kid.

I'm pretty sure he slammed that from Parkersburg.

The Selection Committee should ban Gtown from being ranked in the top 5 until they show they can not choke in the dance. Look at Gtown's last 5 appearances-

2008, #2 seed
W- #15 U Maryland Baltimore County
L- #10 Davidson

2010, #3 seed
L- #14 OHIO

2011, #6
L- #11 VCU

2012, #3
W- #14 Belmont
L- #11 NC State

2013, #2
L= #15 Florida Gulf Coast

All 5 losses to double digit seeds, best win is vs a 14. Holy crap that is embarrassing.

It's even worse if you throw in the spreads they lost by.

Davidson - 4
Ohio - 15
VCU - 18
NC State - 3

Chase Fieler, and we should have recruited him. Both parents went to OU.

I seem to remember an image similar to this three years ago.

I tried to be the good Bobcat Rep and get him a look in Athens. It would've given us two Ivos, though. FGCU was his only D1 offer I think. A friend of mine from here played at FGCU when they were just starting their D1 transition. That's how he ended up there.

hate to say it but Smith Rivera is one of our native Hoosiers. Left us going into his senior year turning his back on his team mates who went on to win a state title. He went to prep at Oak Hill. I kind of liked him as a younger guy but he got real arrogant around here and left for the east coast. Can't say I feel any empathy for him and kind of like to see the tears after the way he dissed everyone here as if the comp at Oak Hill was gonna make him any more a pro than Deshawn.

Teardrops on my pillow.......

Groce missed him! Damn!

From their media guide
"Turned in a breakout senior season … a West Virginia Player of the Year candidate and All-State Class AAA first team selection … finished fourth in the Player of the Year voting after averaging 25.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 3.5 blocks and 2.2 steals per game"

"father played football at Ohio University and mother played volleyball at Ohio University … sports management major."

May be time to drop the incest rule when it comes to recruiting.

Kids like the guy from PKB are the type of local player we need to get to enhance our local fan base.  Too bad JG didn't go after him.

Even though Harvard is the latest 14-seed to win, our 14-point win over G'town remains the biggest margin by a 14 over a 3.  All the others were 8 pts or less.
