Starting in 2014, the league's basketball lineup will include Connecticut, Cincinnati, Temple, South Florida, Central Florida, Houston, Memphis, SMU and Tulane.
My suggestions for a name would be the Hot Mess Conference or the Cautionary Tale Conference.

In 2005, that conference would've been pretty good. Cal at Memphis. Calhoun at UConn. Huggy at UC. Chaney at Temple.
Not so much anymore.

In 2005 it would have been called Conference USA.

The Officer and a Gentleman Conference.
"I got no where else to go!"
That said, I'd rather be there than the MAC as it is now.

Not really more room on ESPN -- this deal is *tiny*. 12 appearances with at least half being league games is 6-9 games per season. The bulk of the games will be on -- you guessed it -- ESPN platforms.
