...8 made it back this year (Kansas, Ohio State, Louisville, Michigan State, Florida, Syracuse, Indiana, and Marquette).
...1 lost in the second round (North Carolina).
...3 lost in the first round this year (NC State, Cincy, Wisconsin).
...4 failed to make the tournament (Ohio, Kentucky, Xavier, Baylor). Of those four, Xavier did not get a bid to any postseason tournament. Ohio and Kentucky lost in the first round of the NIT. Baylor is in the NIT quarterfinals.

Interesting stuff. I'm glad college basketball is starting to become more of a level playing field. This has been a great tournament so far, and there are many great moments to come. I remember hearing multiple analysts talking about Miami (FL) throughout the year and saying "but hey, this is a team that lost to Florida Gulf Coast"...well hey, that's a pretty respectable loss now. Unbelievable parody around the country this year. As you said, the defending champ (KY) got bounced in the first round of the NIT. March Madness baby, gotta love it!

So, you're making fun of the whole thing?

Well, the Bobcat team this year was kind of a
parody
of last year's team, but from an Ohio perspective we didn't show the
parity
with upper level teams that we did a year ago!

Way to GO Monroe......now after supporting the guy in the other thread you are gonna scare hawaiian back into the seclusion of his volcano.....
I agree with this though. I do not see calling folks on the spelling errors as a problem. More educational than anything. Since we DO represent the fans and supporters of an institution of higher learning with few peers we should help our fellow supporters with some of those homophones and such. It is a friendly hand lent to those folk that may help them in their (not there) next job interview or conversation with a less enlightened person ....say a grdjitate of that Agriculteral and mekanicaul college north of us. When someone corrects me I take it as a caring gesture and thank the person committing my faux pas to memory and try not to make it again.
after all Grammar IS the difference between knowing your s*** and knowing you're s***.

Pretty sure he was referring to OSU since it was originally named Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical.

That was a Jeopardy answer last night in the "Ohio History" category.

Now that's funny! And, a good way to expel your point.
