I was reminiscing about the 2005 season earlier this morning and remembered the video that the athletic department made that was a montage of the MAC Championship Game and the NCAA First Round game against Florida.  

Does anyone know where it may be lurking in cyberspace?  I did a YouTube search and came up empty.

I've sometimes wished to see it again, too. I remember there was a very long highlight video that encapsulated the regular and postseason from that year. It's buried somewhere in the Convo - I hope someone digs it up.

I'd like to see a commemorative DVD of 2005, 2010 and 2012. I remember the VHS tape "The Ride" chronicling 1994-95. Wondering if it would be possible (NCAA/CBS video licensing issues?) to have highlights of 2005/2010/2012, with specifics on the NCAA upsets. Might be a great fundraiser. I'd pay a premium to have that.

Agree with all of this, but I'd like to see a few minutes of the NCAA victories over Louisville and UK back in the day.  I know the university used to have this on film, because Jim Snyder showed it once at a meeting I was at.  I can't remember the exact venue.  I'm assuming that some enterprising staffer or intern has taken the time over the last twenty years or so to copy this and now transfer to digital.  I'm sure it'll be faded, but whatever we have on those games, or what UL or UK has in their archives, needs to be on any hoops highlight reel.  Heck, I suppose there's a slim possibility that something exists somewhere of the 1941 NIT run.

That would definitely be neat to see.  Considering we have a newer influx of fans (mainly students) coming to our games I think it would be great to start a "Bobcat Vault" program or something like that.  I have been to games at other schools and they will show highlights from some signature win back in the day.  I know they did something similar for the 100th anniversary of basketball but it would be great to have it be done consistently at both football and basketball (as I think we only have the capability for these two, if the Convo even has that).  If we have done this in  the past it was before or after my time as a student.  It's never a bad thing to show people that yes, we have a strong team now, but we always usually have!
